Dr. Lynn Supple specializes in working with individuals and athletes experiencing eating disorders, anxiety, and mood dysregulation. Lynn has gained specialized experience through various settings specific to the treatment of eating disorders and related symptomology including residential programs, partial hospitalization, and outpatient practice. Lynn received her doctoral degree from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed her postdoctoral training at the Victory Program at McCallum Place, a program solely dedicated to athletes in regaining health and participation of sport. Dr. Supple’s specializations include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Based Treatment (FBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Lynn is extremely passionate about her clients and is dedicated to the effective, efficient treatment of individuals struggling with eating disorders.
Dr. Supple has further specialization working with elite athletes and eating disorders, as well as enhancing performance issues that often complicate recovery. Currently she works with high-performing athletes from a variety of sports, and serves as a consultant for clinicians in the St. Louis area to better serve athlete clients. Dr. Supple competed as a Division I athlete in track and cross country at Indiana University, and understands the unique demands of competitive athletics. Dr. Supple knows peak performance is achieved through a healthy mind and body. She supports athletes from initial diagnosis to re-entry to sport if leave was necessary. Dr. Supple works within a team approach that includes the athlete, their families, coaches, and medical professionals. Dr. Supple is excited to bring her passion and expertise in the treatment of eating disorders to Louisville, Kentucky this spring.
